Otolaryngology (ENT)

Otolaryngology is the medical specialty that focuses on the treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the ears, nose, and throat and related structures in the head and neck.
Otolaryngologists are physicians trained to treat patients with these conditions both medically and surgically.

Audiologists evaluate, diagnose and manage disorders of the auditory and balance systems using advanced technology and procedures. In addition to evaluating and treating hearing and balance disorders, audiologists provide amplification devices (cochlear implants or hearing aids), counsel and teach communication strategies so patients can live fulfilling lives. Audiologists treat newborns, children and adults.
